Rimbey & District Victim Services provides information, support, referrals and specialized court support to victims of crime.

We are here for people living within the Rimbey and district area (Bluffton, Forshee, Gull Lake, Hoadley, Leedale, Parkland Beach, Rimbey and Willesden Green).

Our services are free and confidential, and we offer victims the support they need when they need it.

We help people impacted by:

• Family violence
• Sexual assault
• Sudden death
• Destruction of property (e.g., fire or flood)
• Assault
• Robbery
• Break and enter
• Motor vehicle collision

 

Victim Services staff and advocates offer emotional support, compassion, practical assistance and knowledge about other services in the community.

You may need help during the first few hours, days or months as you begin to adjust to the changes in your lives.

Victim Services staff and advocates are trained to help people through some of their worst moments.  The majority of referrals come from the RCMP. 

We also accept referrals from other community agencies and we encourage victims to contact us directly.
